About this Event

The Trustees of the National Education Trust are pleased to invite you to the 12th Annual Lecture, named after Mike Baker, the BBC journalist and founding NET trustee.

Previous lecturers have included Estelle Morris, David Bell, Michael Barber, Sally Coates and Shami Chakrabarti. This year we are delighted to welcome Geoff Barton, General Secretary, Association of School and College Leaders.

Roy Blatchford will chair proceedings. Light refreshments are available from 6pm, with the lecture and Q & A scheduled from 6.30pm to 8pm. Further refreshments are available afterwards.
The lecture will be held in the splendid Parliament Chamber at the Inner Temple. There is no parking. There is disabled access. The nearest tube is Temple.
