Meet Our Team
Maxine has 20 years senior executive education and business experience. She has extensive skills in change management projects, including academy conversion and school improvement, and managing £100m+ revenues as S&M Director in RM plc.
She previously held a CEO role at an Oxfordshire academy trust (where she was Headteacher for nine years), with significant experience of improving under-performing schools and developing leadership capacity.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Moira has spent much of her career providing a range of financial management services in Education and the Voluntary Sector. She is a member of the Charity Advisors Network and a former school governor.
Moira is responsible for the day to day financial management of the Trust and supports NET’s Academies Development Programme.
Marc has worked nationally to support schools in maximising the impact of the Pupil Premium. This includes LA-wide work in Warwickshire, Essex, Sheffield and North Yorkshire. He is currently working with the Jersey government on the introduction of a ‘Jersey Pupil Premium’ and with Essex LA to produce a Pupil Premium ‘toolkit for schools’. The second edition of his successful book ‘An Updated Practical Guide to The Pupil Premium’ was published in December 2015.
Marc has sat on a number of education advisory groups, including the recent Independent Review of Professional Standards for Teaching Assistants. He has been a primary school governor.
Takako is a former secondary teacher having taught Politics and History in some of the best schools in London, Bangkok and Singapore. She recently completed an MA in Public Policy with Distinction at King’s College, London.
In 2012 she co-edited the National Education Trust publication on innovative and effective use of the Pupil Premium.
Simon is a former teacher and school leader with extensive experience in special education, in particular the education of children with severe or profound and multiple learning disabilities, a field in which he worked for eighteen years.
He has also sat on a number of education advisory groups and executive boards, including the Independent Review of Professional Standards for Teaching Assistants, and the The Teachers’ Professional Development Expert Group. He speaks widely on the subject of SEND and is a feature writer for the TES.
Diana joined the NET team in September 2016. She is a part qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting. Diana has significant experience of working on academy audits in practice, as well as the preparation of financial and management accounts, tax and provision of software training services.
